Last updated: March 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Lexa ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our voice-to-document application.

Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • Register for an account
  • Use our voice recording features
  • Contact us for support

This information may include:

  • Email address
  • Name (optional)
  • Account preferences

Audio and Voice Data

When you use our voice recording features, we process your audio recordings to transcribe them into text. Audio recordings are processed using OpenAI's Whisper API. Audio recordings are stored securely on Google Cloud Platform until you delete the associated note or your account.

Document Data

We store the transcribed text and any documents you create using our service. This includes:

  • Transcribed text from voice recordings
  • Edited and formatted documents
  • Tags and organizational data

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our services
  • Transcribe audio recordings into text documents
  • Format and organize your documents
  • Improve and personalize your experience
  • Communicate with you about updates and support
  • Ensure the security of our services

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our application:

  • Google Cloud Platform: Infrastructure and data storage. Your data is stored on GCP servers with encryption in transit and at rest.
  • OpenAI: We use OpenAI's Whisper API for speech-to-text transcription and GPT-4o for document formatting. OpenAI's data usage policies state they do not use API data to train AI models.
  • Deepgram: Multi-speaker audio diarization (identifying different speakers in recordings).
  • Google Sign-In: Authentication. We receive and store the email address and name associated with your Google account.
  • Apple Sign-In: Authentication (iOS). We receive and store your Apple ID identifier and, if provided, your email address.
  • Apple: In-app purchase payment processing for iOS subscriptions.
  • Sentry: Error monitoring and crash reporting. Collects crash data, performance data, and diagnostic data. This data is not linked to your identity.
  • Stripe: Payment processing for web subscriptions.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Retention

Audio files: Retained until you delete the associated note or delete your account.

Transcripts and notes: Retained until you delete them or delete your account.

Account data: Deleted immediately when you delete your account.

You can delete individual notes at any time through the application. Deleted notes are permanently removed after 30 days. You can delete your account from Settings > Data > Delete Account in the app. Account deletion immediately cancels any active subscriptions, removes all your notes, audio recordings, and transcripts, and permanently deletes your account. This action cannot be undone.

7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Export your documents and transcriptions
  • Delete your account and all data (Settings > Data > Delete Account in the app)
  • Update or correct your information

To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us at info@kyzer.ai.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
